Call to Entry
The “Whatever Floats Your Boat” show
You are invited to join Elissa Anthony, her students and friends in creating your original interpretation of the picture above.
The rules are simple:
- You must use the above photo as your inspiration. You may use any part or the entire photo. Click the image above for a larger printable copy. Call Elissa at 250 757 2360 if you need to arrange to get a printed copy.
- The art work must be an original painting. You may use oils, acrylics, watercolours, pastels or mixed media.
- The finished and framed (or gallery-wrap painted) piece must be delivered ready to hang by Friday April 23rd for inclusion in the show, which will hang from May 2nd to May 22nd.
YOU MUST pre-register with me by phone or email to hang in the show! I need to know how many pieces and what sizes to plan to hang.
- Each artist is allowed as many entries as they want for either Show. There will be a $2.50 charge per painting. No entries from previous Shows please.
- This is for fun! There will be no judging and no prizes!
- There will be a “People’s Choice Award”. A ballet box will be available for you and the public to enter your favorite.
A showing of new works of Art by Elissa’s students will coincide with this show. All the same rules apply to the student show.
An Opening will be held at the MonElissa Studio ~ time to be announced. Newspaper and Media coverage will be done.
